Jeff Hofeldt
Jeff
Hofeldt has been a successful high school teacher and
coach for 17 years. He has taught the process of math,
the process of basketball, and the process of football,
and now is excited to teach 8 to Great, the process
of how to be successful in every area of life!
Jeff doesn't just teach 8 to Great,
he uses it every day in his professional and personal
life as a parent, husband, teacher and coach. He became
a Master Trainer in 2008 and now travels around the
country, taking the 8 High-Ways to schools and
businesses.
What effects has he seen? Jeff credits 8 to Great with
helping him go from being a first grade basketball
coach in 2008 to being named the head basketball coach
in 2009 of one of the largest high schools in the state
of Nebraska.
I
want to share a letter
one of his students wrote as part of her application to college.
Although she flunked the first math class she had with
Jeff, she requested to be in his class again, and the
second time received a B!

Please describe qualities of an
individual (older than yourself and not a family member)
who has had a major impact on your life.
The individual who has had a major impact in my life
is my math teacher, Mr. Jeffery Hofeldt. He
is confident and a patient person who has true
compassion for others. He has constantly been
willing to speak up for his students in necessary.
He has always cared about his students beyond the
walls of our classroom and has given me the
inspiration and courage to never give up. He has
taught me all that I know about being a successful
student as well as being successful in life. He has
helped me mature through my high school career
because he has never given up on me. |
All that I have learned from him will impact me
during my college experience because he has made me
aware of the obstacles that I will have in pursuing
my education. At the same time he has taught me how
to overcome them by sharing his experiences with me.
He is an inspiration to me because he is an
individual that has never given up on his students.
He is extremely intelligent and I hope one day I
will be blessed with the knowledge and wisdom that
he holds.
