Mike was a Master
Trainer for the Applications of Biology and
Chemistry Curriculum. Developed by the Center
for Occupational Research and Development (CORD)
in Waco Texas. He trained hundreds of high
school biology and chemistry teachers at
numerous conferences and institutes in
California, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Texas,
and Vermont.
His public
speaking and training skills have been used for
the USA Canada Lions Leadership Forums. The
topic of his 2000 seminar at the Tucson, Arizona
Forum was Successful Lions Clubs. His 2004
seminar at the Reno, Nevada Forum was Effective
Meetings.
Mike’s public
speaking and training skills have also been used
for the Great Plains Lions Leadership
Institutes. The topic for his 2006 Miller, South
Dakota Institute was Understanding Motivation
and the topic for his 2007 Leavenworth, Kansas
Institute was Managing Change.
Mike does
volunteer work through the Lions Clubs
International and has been an active member
since 1987. He has served as the District
Governor for western Nebraska, the Council
Chairman for Nebraska, and as the Chairman of
the Nebraska Lions Foundation. He has been
recognized for his volunteer work with several
Lions Clubs International awards.
