is a powerful opportunity to put the heart of the
8 to Great program into practice. Group
member’s dreams will become the motivation for working
together and lifting each other toward success. |

| The Dream Catcher
– This Experiential Learning activity uses Indian folklore
to help participants realize the power of a dream. Each
group member will play an important role as they guide and
support each other through a life size dream catcher. This
is a challenging activity which provides excellent
opportunities for building trust and respect. |

Window of
Opportunities – Windows of
opportunity occur in our lives each day but they are easily
missed by untrained eyes. This unique Experiential Learning
activity challenges groups to apply 8 to Great
High-Ways 1 and 2 as they learn to recognize windows of
opportunities in their life.

Turn to Success
– The simple design of this Experiential Learning activity
creates a myriad of learning opportunities for all age
groups. The two phase approach will help group members
identify problems getting in the way of their success and
how to overcome these problems.

| The Bucket Challenge
– This Experiential Learning activity allows groups to discover the importance of
planning for success. Group members are asked to apply key
concepts from 8 to Great High-Ways 2 – 5 as
they learn to "think ahead" and support each other toward a common goal. |

Raging River
– This Experiential Learning activity asks group members
to traverse a Raging River by utilizing their skills
learned in 8 to Great High-Ways 1 - 4. This
activity is designed to help groups put empowerment
tools to work as they encounter the rough waters of life.

| The Course of the Day
– In the course of the day we
all experience a variety of emotions. This Experiential
Learning activity allows groups to see the important
role emotions play as they face daily challenges. Group members
are asked to put their "noodles" to work as they learn to
respect the power of their emotions. |

Responsibility
Rocks – Responsibility
Rocks is designed as a culminating activity for 8
to Great High-Way 3. This challenging Experiential
Learning activity allows groups to experience the
freedom of releasing their "shoulds” and taking
control of their life. |
